Costing Engineer

Inquiry handling, cost working, price estimations

a) Ability to handle & overall control for cost estimation of Pumps, Spares, Service, Valves & Precision machined parts.

b) Final control for costing of process like heat treatment/ various types of coating / painting / platting etc. in the view of cost working & estimations.

c) Knowledge of steel / stainless steel market rates.

d) Knowledge of machine hour rates & its calculations.

e) Knowledge of transport cost estimations.

f) Knowledge of overall factors involved in cost working to estimate ‘Should Cost’ of precision machined parts.

g) Final control for maintaining enquiry register against customer enquiries.

h) Responsible for conducting feasibility review & applicable PDPP against new product inquiries.

i) Co-ordination with concern Departments like Purchase/ Production / Quality Dept. for costing inputs for new products.

j) Preparation of final pricing & estimations for precision machined parts.

k) Responses to customers for their enquires with business proposals.

l) Knowledge of cost analysis for estimated V/S actual.

m) Overall Profit / loss analysis against project costing.

n) Knowledge of terms & conditions for business proposals like incoterms/ payment terms/ Credits/ Bank guarantees/ offer validities / warranty clauses etc.

o) Familiarity with manufacturing processes, BOM structures, and cost control techniques

Supporting Job Responsibilities

a) Keeping track of customer/marketing team enquiries through enquiry registers in order to track enquiry to firm orders conversion rate.

b) Supporting the marketing team for technical queries, price bids, price negotiations to convert the inquiry into firm order.

b) Knowledge & abilities to handle ISO System for Costing Dept.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
