Costing Engineer- Manufacturing

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Costing Engineer-Manufacturing to handle post-contract costing activities for manufacturing projects. The role focuses on accurate cost estimation, budget control, cost monitoring, and profitability analysis from order confirmation through project completion.

Qualification: B.Tech (Production, Manufacturing or any related field)

Experience: 3–5 years experience in UAE

Key Skills Required:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of materials (BOMs) from drawings and specs
• Analyze material, labor, machinery, and overhead costs
• Work closely with design, production, procurement, and sales teams to finalize pricing and quotations
• Review supplier quotes and help with vendor negotiations
• Suggest smarter ways to make products more cost-efficient without compromising quality
• Track project budgets and monitor costs throughout production and installation
• Keep an eye on actual vs. estimated costs, flag variances, and recommend solutions
• Support change orders and scope adjustments when projects evolve
• Help with billing, margin tracking, and final project cost reconciliation

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in costing or estimation, ideally in manufacturing projects
• Strong understanding of materials, processes, and finishes
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and BOMs
• Hands-on with Excel and ERP systems
• Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong commercial awareness and project-focused mindset
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams
