Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Costing Engineer from the sheet metal manufacturing industry who can independently handle product cost estimation, pricing support, and cost analysis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate costing, improving margins, and supporting customer and internal commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed product costings for sheet metal components, assemblies, and fabricated parts

Analyze material, labor, overhead, tooling, and process costs

Support sales and commercial teams with accurate pricing and quotations

Perform cost reconciliation and rate difference analysis for customers

Review and validate customer RFQs and technical drawings for cost feasibility

Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

Coordinate with production, purchase, quality, and engineering teams for cost accuracy

Maintain costing records, MIS reports, and documentation

Monitor cost variances and support management decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical or Production Engineering

4–7 years of hands-on experience in costing within the sheet metal or manufacturing industry

Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes such as cutting, bending, welding, pressing, and fabrication

Good understanding of BOM, routing, and manufacturing cycles

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
