Costing Manager

We are seeking a brilliant, commercially astute Costing Manager to lead our budget architecture and profit-maximization strategies from our corporate office in Ar Rayyan. The Role: What You’ll Do

As our Costing Manager, you will have total operational ownership over our standard costing frameworks, inventory valuations, and margin optimization models. You will act as the vital strategic bridge between procurement, production pipelines, and corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Costing Architecture: Design, implement, and continuously scale comprehensive standard and activity-based costing (ABC) models across all product lines and operations.
  • Margin & Pricing Strategy: Partner with Sales and Procurement leaders to analyze raw material fluctuations and build adaptive pricing matrices that maximize corporate margins.
  • Variance & Waste Control: Lead deep-dive audits into operational spending, identifying and rectifying cost variances (labor, material yields, overhead overruns) before they impact the bottom line.
  • Inventory Control & Asset Valuation: Oversee the structural tracking and financial reconciliation of high-volume raw materials, finished goods, and Work-in-Progress (WIP) assets.
  • Executive Decision Support: Prepare precise cost breakdown structures, breakeven analyses, and feasibility dashboards directly for the CFO and Executive Board to guide capital investments.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

  • Education & Credentials: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Industrial Engineering. Highly preferred: CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CIMA, or ACCA/CPA designations.
  • Experience: 6+ years of rigorous management accounting or cost controls experience, with at least 2–3 years in a dedicated managerial or team-lead capacity within manufacturing, FMCG, heavy trading, or large-scale distribution.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in enterprise-grade ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and expert-level MS Excel financial modeling capabilities.
  • Commercial Drive: An out-of-the-box thinker who doesn't just record historical costs but proactively uncovers hidden savings and optimizes supply chain logistics.
  • Local Presence: Currently based in Qatar with a valid, transferable QID, ready to operate full-time on-site from our corporate office in Ar Rayyan.
