Job Summary
We are looking for an outgoing and driven counter sales associate who will be responsible for managing counter sales and customer relations.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Orders products, arranges delivery, contacts customers regarding delivery and updates customers on order status
• Takes special orders and keep customers updated on progress
• Acts as liaison between warehouse supervisor and customers
• Ensures purchase orders are completed. Pulls orders as required
• Answers telephones and ensures counters are properly stocked
• Rearranging and stocking shelves, building displays, ordering merchandise, checking in shipments, counting money in the register and running register sales reports

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal team members, vendors and customers
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Experience using sales order computer software
• Knowledge of plumbing industry and associated products

Education and Experience

• 1‐2 years of sales experience in the plumbing/HVAC industry
• Experience with Epicor Eclipse software is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
