Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems.
• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing excellent customer service.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Manage food handling responsibilities safely, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and food safety compliance.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area as needed to support overall operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
