Counter Staff/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Staff to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to delivering a positive experience for our guests.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining an organized dining area.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding menu items.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards in daily operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Skills in food preparation, customer service, sales, and cash handling are highly valued.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, food safety practices, and retail math is a plus.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
