Counter/Delivery driver

Standard Plumbing is among the largest family owned and operated Plumbing, Heating, Sprinkler, and Hardware wholesalers in the Western United States.

We are looking for a driver/counter associate to work at our Preston, ID location. This individual will work closely with our sales staff and delivery team to ensure we are providing solutions to our customers’ everyday needs. Fun atmosphere and opportunities to move up. Responsibilities:

Present, promote, and sell products/services to contractors and walk-in customers.

- receive, ship, invoice and maintain inventory on the shelves, make deliveries when needed..

- help others with cost-benefit and needs analysis for existing/potential customers.

- Establish, develop and strive to maintain positive business customer relations.

Requirements

- Excellent communication and listening skills.

- Outstanding customer service,

- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.

- Clean and current driver license and DMV record

• Invoice material, maintain open orders, purchase orders, and returned merchandise.
• Perform frequent inventory counts, adjustments, and order product into the store.
• Be accurate in pulling orders and providing correct lead-times on ordered product.
• Receive product into the store and restock product on the shelf.
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

Requirements:

• Must be able to move objects 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lift/move objects over 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand.

• Base pay and commissions included (no cap)
