Position Overview: As a Counter Service Team Member, you will be the face of Sunbird, providing friendly, efficient service to our guests while helping to create a positive dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing beverages, serving food, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for food and coffee, and is excited to contribute to the team’s success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Greet customers warmly and take orders with a friendly, professional attitude
• Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas
• Assemble and serve food items, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Handle cash and operate the POS system to process orders
• Maintain a clean, organized counter and dining area
• Restock supplies and keep the service station tidy
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any questions or concerns
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate service
• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment

Specific Requirements:

• Able to work breakfast and lunch shifts (6 AM – 3 PM)
• Previous experience in a counter service or customer-facing role preferred, but not required
• A positive attitude and a passion for food, coffee, and hospitality
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Comfortable operating a POS system and handling cash transactions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
