Countertop Installer Apprentice

Job Summary
Welcome to Surface Creations! Are you looking for a new career opportunity in a new industry. We are looking to bring on a candidate into the largest wholesale stone countertop fabricator in New England, located in Northwood, NH. We are a family owned business with over 30 years in the industry. We are currently seeking a full-time installer apprentice to learn the industry and join our team. Experience is preferred but not required as we are willing to train the right candidate.

Position includes but is not limited to

• Lifting 50lbs+ and standing for long periods of time.
• Assist installation team lead as needed on the job site.
• Keep a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co workers.
• Maintaining a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Longer work days during busy season. (Overtime available)
• Monday-Friday schedule with a staggered start time.
• Starting pay is commiserate with experience.
• Valid drivers license required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some experience or coursework in construction or related fields is a plus
• Strong interest in construction trades with a desire to learn new skills in countertop installation
• Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools, and basic heavy equipment under supervision
• Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean work environment

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
