Country Exploration Manager (Mining)

The Company

Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key client are working together to source experienced and qualified Country Exploration Manager for their office in Baluchistan. This will be a FIFO role 10 weeks on /3 weeks off .

The Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all exploration activities in Pakistan, delivering approved programs from concept through execution toward economically viable discoveries.
• Develop and implement exploration strategies, targets, budgets, and schedules while ensuring technical excellence and industry best practices.
• Oversee field operations, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, contractor performance, and reporting to ensure cost-effective and timely program delivery.
• Build and sustain a high-performance exploration organization through leadership, mentoring, recruitment, and continuous technical development.

The Requirements

• 12+experience leading mining exploration programs from concept generation to drilling and evaluation.
• Degree in Geological Sciences.
• Metals Mining Industry experience. Demonstrate an understanding of surface and underground processes.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong technical background in exploration geoscience with demonstrated ability to identify and mature prospects and play concepts.
• Basic operation of GIS and 3D software to view project updates.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and field operations in challenging environments.
• Solid knowledge of HSE, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices applicable to international exploration activities.
