Country Manager / Head of Sales

About the Role


  • We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Country Manager / Head of Sales – UAE to lead ANTA’s commercial operations in the United Arab Emirates. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing retail and wholesale channels, expanding market presence, and building a strong team to achieve sustainable growth in the UAE market.


Responsibilities


  • Sales & Market Development
  • Develop and implement sales and market strategies for the UAE to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Channel & Account Management
  • Oversee store performance, wholesale clients, and online channels.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, monitor account performance, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Drive new business development and ensure healthy sell-through.
  • Team Leadership
  • Build and lead the UAE sales/retail team, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Set clear KPIs and monitor sales targets at both individual and team levels.
  • Business & Financial Management
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and P&L for the UAE market.
  • Provide regular business reports with insights on sales, competitors, and market trends.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with merchandising, marketing, operations, and HQ teams to align on product launches, campaigns, and business initiatives.
  • Ensure effective coordination between sales and supply chain for inventory availability.
  • Brand & Market Insights
  • Strengthen ANTA’s brand positioning in the UAE through effective sales and retail execution.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research to adjust strategies.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales or retail management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in retail, sportswear, fashion, or FMCG industries.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE retail landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in P&L and sales forecasting.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience as a Country Manager, Head of Sales, or Regional Sales Manager in an international brand.
  • Established network in UAE retail, wholesale, or sportswear markets.
  • Passion for sports and fashion retail, with strong entrepreneurial drive.
