Country Operations Manager — Premium Dessert & Brunch Brand

About the opportunity

We are bringing a leading international premium dessert and brunch brand to Bahrain, launching with a multi-store rollout. We are seeking an experienced operations leader to own the country operation end to end: opening the first restaurants, building the team, and growing the territory to brand standard.

This is a senior, build-from-the-ground-up role for an operator who knows the Bahrain market and wants real ownership of how this brand is established in the country. Full brand details will be shared with shortlisted candidates under confidentiality.

What you'll own

• Full P&L and operational performance across multiple restaurants
• New restaurant openings — site readiness, equipment fit-out coordination, and launch timelines
• Building supplier, procurement and equipment-sourcing networks across Bahrain and the GCC
• Recruiting and developing restaurant teams, including labour planning and LMRA/visa logistics
• Upholding brand standards, guest experience, and operational audit performance
• Cold-chain, import and inventory logistics
• Executing local marketing and brand activations in partnership with the franchisor

What we're looking for

• 8+ years in F&B operations, including multi-unit leadership at area, operations, or GM level
• Proven new-restaurant opening experience, ideally in Bahrain or the GCC
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of the Bahrain market — malls and footfall, food licensing, and the local labour pool
• An established network for procurement, suppliers, and equipment sourcing
• Premium or experience-led café, bakery, or dessert background preferred
• P&L ownership, inventory and cost control, and EPOS/systems fluency
• Working understanding of marketing, branding, and brand-standard execution
• Degree in hospitality management or equivalent operational experience
