Overview
The Caseworker II plays a crucial role in providing support and guidance to individuals and families in need. This position involves assessing client needs, developing service plans, and facilitating access to resources and services. The Caseworker II will work collaboratively with clients to empower them towards achieving their goals while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and circumstances.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans.
  • Provide crisis management support to clients facing immediate challenges.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.
  • Offer mentoring and guidance to clients regarding workforce development opportunities.
  • Facilitate access to community resources, including addiction counseling and behavioral health services.
  • Supervise case management activities to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and case progress in compliance with agency standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including child welfare services, to address complex client needs.
  • Stay informed about policies related to Section 8 housing assistance and Medicare services.

Skills

  • Strong mentoring abilities to guide clients through personal challenges.
  • Proficient in crisis management techniques to effectively address urgent situations.
  • Knowledge of motivational interviewing strategies for enhancing client motivation.
  • Experience in addiction counseling or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with child welfare practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of workforce development initiatives and resources available for clients.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate activities within a case management team.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices relevant to client care.

Pay: From $50,349.00 per year
