COUPLES COUNSELLING

Job Title: Couple CounsellorLocation: Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility and Pregnancy Centre, Bangalore Preferred Candidate: Female

We are looking for a compassionate and empathetic Couple Counsellor to support patients undergoing fertility treatments. The counsellor will provide emotional guidance, psychological support, and structured counselling sessions to couples dealing with infertility, pregnancy-related stress, and relationship challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and couple counselling sessions for patients undergoing IVF and other fertility treatments.
• Help couples manage emotional stress, anxiety, and relationship concerns arising from infertility or treatment.
• Guide patients through decision-making related to treatment options and family planning.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide a safe, non-judgmental environment.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and the medical team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Conduct pre-treatment and post-treatment counselling sessions.
• Organize awareness programs, workshops, and group counselling when required.
• Maintain accurate counselling records and prepare periodic reports.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Psychology / Counselling / Social Work (Clinical Psychology preferred).
• Prior experience in marital, couple, or fertility counselling is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to handle sensitive conversations.
• Fluency in English and local languages (Kannada/Tamil preferred).
