Role and Responsibilities:
1. Protect the strict confidentiality of all patient information, both medical and financial.
2. Perform all Courier work.
3. Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, co-workers, physicians, and the community. This will include written, telephone, and face-to-face communication.
4. Safely Drive to satellite offices, post office, bank, hospital, and other medical offices.
5. Maintain friendly, courteous, and professional behavior at all times.
Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, Current driver license, and a clean driving record.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Physical Demands: Lift and carry loads of 15 – 30 pounds frequently, on a daily basis. Reach above head height. Walk five or more miles a day.
Position Type/Expected Hours to work: Monday – Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Hours in the afternoon may vary
Other Duties: Other duties as required by this role or assigned by the supervisor.
The Walla Walla Clinic offers the following benefits:
WA Paid Sick Leave: All employees accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked. Waiting period of 90 days. Maximum rollover is 40 hours per year.
Extended Sick Time (EST): Full-time and part-time (part-time is prorated) employees will begin accruing upon hire date. Waiting period of 90 days. EST hours may be used for illness or injury after an absence of three consecutive working days. WA Paid Sick Leave and/or PTO, if available, will be used during this waiting period. Maximum accumulation of 480 hours.
