Courier 2nd shift- W. Springfield, MA

This position will drive to multiple locationss to pick up environemnt samples. **Must be comfortable driving.**

This route will start at our West Springfield, MA service center to-pick up company vehicle, then drive to North Kingstown, RI then to Elmsford NY and return to West Springfield, MA to return company vehicle.

Position is full-time Monday - Friday 4:30pm -12:30am. Must live a commutable distance to West Springfield, MA. Compensation is $18-20/hour plus overtime as needed. Benefits offered at 30 days.

Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform all duties as outlined in the SOP for Couriers.
• Pick up and deliver samples, bottle orders and report to the laboratory for sign-in and analysis.
• Count the number of samples when receiving them from clients to make sure that the Chain of Custody and samples match. Verify that samples are not broken or damaged.
• Receive and sign the Chain of Custody.
• Ensure that client signs, dates, and records time on the Chain of Custody when releasing samples.
• Transport samples on ice from client site to the lab, or from our lab to a sub- contracted laboratory.
• Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols
• Responsible for quality control of all assignment and completing documents
• Following and enforcing company health and safety policies.
• Must be able to follow technical instructions and guidance.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Samples will be in coolers packed in ice.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Must have a valid US drivers license without recent incident.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned
