Courier Driver-Independent contractor

Join Our Team of Professional Couriers!

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and efficient couriers in State College and Altoona to join our growing team. As an Independent Contractor, you’ll use your own vehicle for on-demand, scheduled, and routed deliveries originating from Altoona and State College, covering distances between 100-250 miles. You’ll transport small packages, such as pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and specimens.

Who We’re Looking For:

- Independent Contractors with a registered and insured vehicle

- Valid driver’s license (minimum age 21)

- Clean background and 3-year MVR

- Proof of EIN or Social Security Card

- Insurance coverage meeting these minimums:

- $100,000 bodily injury per person

- $300,000 bodily injury per accident

- $100,000 property damage

Additional Requirements:

- Strong customer service and organizational skills

- Attention to detail and a positive work attitude

- Previous delivery experience preferred

- Ability to lift heavy items

- Dependable with a clean, professional appearance

- Reliable transportation

- Ability to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate your vehicle to transport packages to designated locations

- Load and unload small packages, ensuring they are handled with care

- Communicate effectively with clients to provide excellent customer service

- Comply with traffic regulations and delivery protocols

- Plan and organize delivery routes for efficiency
