Courier Driver – Independent Contractor – Medical & Critical Parts Delivery

This isn't a gig-app hustle. It's a responsibility.

Somewhere in the Milwaukee and surrounding 200 mile radius area tomorrow, a computer server will be down waiting on a replacement part, or a patient will be scheduled for a cardiac scan that depends on a radiopharmaceutical dose with a shelf life measured in hours. Someone has to get it there — on time, every time, handled correctly.

NWA Courier is a 21-year-old, TSA-certified logistics company. We deliver critical computer components, nuclear medicine, pharmaceuticals, lab specimens, and other time-critical shipments for some of the largest names in healthcare and technology logistics. We're expanding our independent contractor driver network in the Milwaukee market.

Let's be honest about what this is

This is on-demand work, not a schedule. Orders come in when our clients need something moved — some weeks are busy, some are quiet. We offer each job to you; you accept it or pass. There are no guaranteed hours, no fixed routes, and no minimums in either direction. Jobs in this market average $114 each.

That's exactly why it suits a particular kind of person: someone who doesn't need this to pay the mortgage, but who likes being the reliable one a hospital or business can count on when it matters.

Who this is for

  • Retirees and semi-retired professionals who want purpose without a 40-hour grind
  • Veterans who miss work where precision and reliability count
  • Dependable people with flexible days who like answering the call

If your first question is "how do I maximize my hourly rate," this probably isn't your fit. If your first question is "what happens if the delivery is late," keep reading.

The work

  • Critical computer component deliveries — the bulk of the volume. Time-sensitive replacement parts for servers and business-critical systems, dispatched when the client calls.
  • Nuclear medicine runs — time-critical deliveries to area hospitals and imaging centers. These are our premium-pay jobs, and you'll know about them a day in advance — no middle-of-the-night surprises. Radioactive materials handling training is provided at no cost and required before you can take them.
  • Standard medical and logistics deliveries — pharmaceutical, lab, and supply-chain jobs at standard courier per-mile rates.

Requirements

  • Age 21+, valid driver's license, clean driving record
  • Reliable, presentable vehicle and a smartphone
  • Ability to pass a background check — we handle regulated medical and air cargo, so vetting is non-negotiable
  • Completion of our radioactive materials handling training (provided) for nuclear runs
  • The kind of personal reliability where "I'll be there at 5:40" means 5:35

What we offer

  • Premium per-trip pay on nuclear medicine runs, with day-ahead notice
  • Full freedom to accept or decline any job — true independent contracting
  • A 21-year-old company that answers the phone, pays on time, and knows your name
  • Work that ends most days knowing a hospital system came back online or a patient got their scan because of you

NWA Courier (Confluent Ltd. Co.) contracts with independent owner-operators. This posting is for an independent contractor relationship, not employment. Earnings vary with job volume and the jobs you choose to accept.

Pay: $273.00 - $1,300.00 per week

  • Do you understand this is on-demand independent contractor work with no guaranteed hours, not employment?
