Courier / Independent Contractor

Overview
NO PHONE CALLS!!! We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and documents efficiently and safely within designated routes. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of cargo. As a Medical Courier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.

Shifts Available: All Day, Morning , Afternoon/Evening and Weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages and materials from vehicles, ensuring safe handling.
• Drive to deliver items to specified locations.
• Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled for daily operations.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable vehicle.
• Must speak English.
• Experience in commercial driving preferred; familiarity with route driving is a plus.
• Ability to drive safely and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• Attention to detail in following delivery instructions and maintaining records.
