Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role is crucial in upholding our high standards of hospitality and cleanliness, contributing to an exceptional experience for all.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are tidy and well-maintained.
• Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as required.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies in accordance with established protocols.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring all linens and uniforms are cleaned and organized.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial practices is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
