Position Summary

The Tax Manager will oversee the preparation and review of individual and small business tax returns while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This is a client-facing, in-person role that requires strong technical tax knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with business owners and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare complex individual and small business tax returns
• Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
• Meet with clients to discuss tax strategies, financial situations, and planning opportunities
• Research and resolve tax issues and questions
• Supervise and mentor tax staff and preparers
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax engagements

Qualifications

• CPA or EA preferred
• 5+ years of tax preparation experience
• Strong experience with individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional technology skills are essential

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
