Craft Beer Server

The Thirsty Growler, located in The Colony, TX, now has a Beertender position open. Our mission is to bring people together through great beer. We are seeking craft beer enthusiasts with bar/restaurant experience to join our team of craft beer servers. You must have a passion for craft beer; the availability to work a flexible schedule (daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays); the desire to provide a great time to folks visiting the taproom; and personality/work ethic that is dependable, fun, friendly, energetic, authentic and a team player. The ideal candidate will also be a self starter that can work alone efficiently.

Shift requirements are:

Flexible to work a rotating schedule with mandatory shifts on Sunday and Monday.

Hours of operation:

Monday: 2pm – 10pm

Tuesday: 11am – 10pm

Thursday: 11am – 11pm

Friday and Saturday: 11am – 12am

Sunday: Noon – 10pm

Requirements:

- Prior server / restaurant experience (preferably at least 2 years)

- Flexibility to take on BOTH weekday and weekend, day and evening shifts

- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

- Able to be on your feet for hours

- Texas Food Handler Safety and TABC certification is required before start of work

- Dress code: look neat, clean and professional at all times

- Able to read, write and communicate in English

- Comprehension of beer styles and a passion for craft
