The Ravens Club has been Ann Arbor's craft cocktail destination since 2011, tucked into a historic 1860 building on Main Street. We're known for our salvaged train station bar, 150+ American whiskey selection, hand-pulled Old Fashioneds on a beer engine (the only one in America), live jazz programming, and a scratch kitchen built around technique and global influence.

Our philosophy is craft without pretense — we take cocktails seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Guests come here because the drinks are world-class and the room feels welcoming.

The Role

We're hiring craft cocktail bartenders to join our bar team. You'll be working a high-volume program with a deep cocktail menu, an extensive whiskey list, and seasonal rotating cocktails developed in-house. This is a real bartending job at a real cocktail bar — fast-paced, detail-oriented, and built around hospitality.

What You'll Do

• Execute craft cocktails to spec on a busy bar
• Provide warm, attentive service to every guest who sits down
• Work the hand-pull program, pour from our whiskey collection, and learn the seasonal menu inside and out
• Maintain bar cleanliness, mise en place, and stocking standards
• Collaborate with the bar team on prep, menu rollouts, and service flow
• Handle Toast POS, cash, and credit transactions accurately
• Support service during live music and private event nights

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year bartending experience preferred — craft cocktail or high-volume experience is a strong plus
• Solid knowledge of classic cocktails and spirits, or genuine eagerness to learn at a serious program
• Strong work ethic and hospitality instincts — you actually like taking care of people
• Available evenings and weekends, including some live music and event nights
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented — we work as a unit
• Must be 18+ and able to obtain Michigan TIPS certification
• Standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation is Michigan tipped minimum wage ($4.74/hr) plus tips. Average all-in earnings range from $25-40/hour depending on shift, season, and experience.
