Crane Operator

Duties and Responsibilities

• Crane Operation
• Operate cranes and lifting equipment safely and efficiently for piling and enabling activities.
• Ensure precise placement of piles, materials, and equipment according to engineering instructions.
• Safety Compliance
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and site regulations.
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks and report any defects or hazards.
• Ensure lifting operations do not endanger personnel, equipment, or structures.
• Coordination
• Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and other construction teams.
• Follow instructions regarding lifting sequences, pile positions, and enabling works.
• Maintenance and Inspection
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of crane equipment.
• Report mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance team.
• Material Handling
• Load, lift, and position construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Assist in the setup and removal of temporary structures or enabling works.
• Documentation
• Maintain records of crane operations, including loads lifted and hours of operation.
• Report daily work progress and any incidents to supervisors.
• Training and Awareness
• Stay updated on latest crane operation techniques and safety practices.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and on-site training sessions.
