Crane Truck Operator

The Crane Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating truck-mounted cranes to lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and steel components at fabrication yards and construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesCrane & Lifting Operations

• Operate truck-mounted crane safely for loading, unloading, and lifting activities
• Lift and position structural steel members, machinery, materials, and equipment
• Follow approved lifting plans, load charts, and site instructions
• Coordinate closely with riggers, signalmen, and site supervisors

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all lifting operations comply with HSE rules and site safety standards
• Conduct daily crane inspections before operation
• Verify crane stability, ground conditions, and load capacity before lifting
• Stop operations immediately if unsafe conditions are identified

Equipment Inspection & Maintenance

• Perform routine checks on crane, outriggers, wire ropes, hooks, slings, and safety devices
• Report mechanical issues, defects, or abnormal operations to supervisors
• Maintain crane logbooks and inspection records

Site Coordination

• Follow instructions from site engineers, foremen, and lifting supervisors
• Assist in planning safe lifting sequences for site and yard activities
• Support loading and transportation of materials between yard and site
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain daily activity logs and equipment checklists
• Ensure required permits and lifting approvals are in place before operation

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
