Our specialization in structural steel erection and precast installation has built our reputation, and we are now seeking experienced Crane Operators confident in operating cranes on active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Link-Belt mobile cranes to lift, move, and place structural steel, precast concrete, and other construction materials
- Work closely with ironworkers, riggers, and signal persons to execute lifts safely and efficiently
- Perform daily crane inspections and complete required documentation
- Read and interpret load charts, lift plans, drawings, and jobsite specifications
- Ensure crane setup, including outriggers and ground conditions, meets safety requirements
- Monitor weather and jobsite conditions that may affect crane operations
- Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues immediately
- Follow all OSHA, MSHA (if applicable) and Stockwell Construction safety policies
- Assist with crane assembly, disassembly, and relocation as needed
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of crane operating experience in commercial or industrial construction site setting
- Experience operating Link-Belt cranes required
- Experience supporting structural steel erection and/or precast installation and lifting operations
- Strong understanding of crane operations, rigging practices, and hand/radio signals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated crew
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including wet, cold, heat, and rapidly changing environments
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders or access crane cabs.
- Valid NYS Crane Operator Certification card (COCC) required
- Class B (Hydraulic) license
- Other NCCCO/CIC certifications are helpful
- OSHA training or certifications preferred
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
