Creative Content Coordinator

The Creative Content Coordinator provides support to the Marketing and Communications team by creating engaging visual, digital and multimedia content across multiple platforms. This role manages social media while providing support for video production and graphic design projects. In addition, this person will coordinate project timelines, workflows and deliverables to ensure all content aligns with brand standards and association goals.

Essential job functions:

  • Develop and produce digital and visual content, including graphics, videos and multimedia assets to support marketing and communication initiatives across platforms.
  • Assist with planning, creating, scheduling and publishing social media content while ensuring consistency with brand voice, visual standards and messaging.
  • Assist with video content by helping as an additional shooter and supporting basic video editing tasks when needed, such as trimming footage, formatting files and preparing videos for use across communication channels.
  • Assist with graphic design needs by creating and updating basic visual assets such as social media graphics, digital flyers and presentations, while making minor edits to existing designs as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content, clarify requirements and incorporate feedback while maintaining project momentum and deadlines.
  • Maintain organized content libraries, templates and digital assets to support efficiency, reuse and consistency across materials.
  • Support the Director of Marketing and Communications with basic reporting and analysis of content and social media performance to help inform refinements and future creative approaches.
  • Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines, accessibility standards and association or team goals and objectives before publication or distribution.

  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital communications, marketing or a related field is preferred; recent graduates and entry‑level candidates are encouraged to apply. Internship experience, coursework, class projects or student‑led work related to design, social media or digital content creation may be considered in place of professional experience.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, along with basic knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter) and social media management tools (like Hootsuite).
  • The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks with guidance.
  • This role requires a creative mindset, eagerness to learn, willingness to take initiative and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Professionalism, good judgment, discretion when handling sensitive information, adaptability, and a positive, can‑do attitude are essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,722.00 per year
