Creative Content, Design & Video Intern

Kirschenbaum Productions is a boutique, Emmy Award winning creative company working across film, publishing, speaking, social media, and personal transformation. Our work focuses on storytelling that helps people heal, connect, and rethink family relationships, forgiveness, aging, resilience, and emotional growth.

We are expanding our creative and social media content around books, film screenings, workshops, speaking engagements, media opportunities, and brand partnerships, and are looking for a talented summer intern with strong visual instincts, design ability, and video editing skills.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Summer Creative Content, Design & Video Intern to help create marketing materials, social media content, short-form videos, graphics, and digital assets for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Threads, Substack, and other platforms.

This is a strong opportunity for someone talented and interested in graphic design, video editing, social media, branding, content creation, film, publishing, digital marketing, and mission-driven storytelling.

The intern will work closely with our small team and receive direct mentorship while contributing to real creative projects.

What You’ll Help With

  • Creating social media graphics, reels, stories, and promotional content
  • Editing short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and YouTube Shorts
  • Designing marketing materials, flyers, one-sheets, social posts, and digital assets
  • Repurposing existing video, photo, and written material into fresh content
  • Helping develop visual content for books, films, workshops, speaking events, and campaigns
  • Supporting content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, and Substack
  • Assisting with basic branding, layout, and visual presentation
  • Helping organize creative assets, photos, clips, captions, and design materials
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions for social media, marketing, and promotional campaigns

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling
  • Experience creating content for social media
  • Comfortable editing short-form video
  • Creative, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Able to follow direction while also bringing fresh ideas
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely
  • Interested in film, books, storytelling, personal growth, social impact, aging, forgiveness, family relationships, or emotional resilience
  • Comfortable using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, Premiere, iMovie, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Threads, or Substack

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar tools
  • Coursework or experience in graphic design, video editing, social media, marketing, communications, film, media, or digital content
  • Ability to create clean, engaging graphics and short videos
  • Interest in memoir, documentary film, women’s stories, healing, aging, forgiveness, or family relationships
  • Comfort working with existing footage, photographs, press materials, and written content
  • Basic understanding of social media trends and what makes content engaging

What You’ll Gain

Internship Details

This is a remote summer internship. Hours are flexible and will be agreed upon in advance. During the summer, interns may work approximately 20–30 hours per week, depending on availability, academic requirements, and fit.

Pay: $1.00 per year
