Creative Content Designer (Social Media, Web & Graphic Design)

Lake Superior Helicopters (LSH) is a helicopter service provider that takes pride in its small-company, family-oriented culture and the quality work of its team. Over the past 15 years, LSH has maintained a strong focus on safety within the aviation industry while continually striving to exceed expectations in service and operations.

Our services have expanded to include a wide range of helicopter operations—from charters and tourism to flight instruction. More recently, we have grown into airplane flight training, supported by a rapidly expanding group of students, staff, and aircraft.

We are seeking a Creative Content Designer to help grow our digital presence across social media and our website. In this role, you will create engaging visual and written content, maintain active and on-brand channels, and respond to customer questions and inquiries online.

What you'll do

• Manage our social media accounts: Plan and publish weekly posts, create fresh content, and engage with customers through comments and messages.
• Maintain and update our website: Keep site content current and relevant, and apply modern design and content best practices.
• Create graphic design assets: Design visuals for social media, web, and promotional materials as needed.
• Create written content: Write copy for the website, SEO, social posts, brochures, and other marketing materials.

• Works well on a team and can move projects forward with minimal direction
• Friendly, outgoing, and able to build relationships with people from varied backgrounds
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative approach and ability to maintain effective working relationships across teams
• Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and written content (work samples or links)
• 2–3 years of experience in graphic design and/or digital content creation
• Experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
