Creative Dance Teachers (International Experience a Plus!)

Summary: We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Dance Teacher to join our team and inspire our young children through movement, rhythm, and expression. The ideal candidate will possess both technical skills and a joyful teaching presence, fostering a warm and encouraging environment where children feel confident exploring dance.

Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging and developmentally appropriate dance classes for children.
• Introduce students to foundational dance techniques, rhythm, movement, choreography, and performance skills.
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that build confidence, coordination, and creativity.
• Demonstrate proper technique and provide gentle, constructive guidance.
• Prepare students for small performance showcases and classroom demonstrations.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching dance to children (required).
• Strong background in one or more styles (ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, cultural dance, etc.).
• Ability to demonstrate proper technique with patience and clarity.
• Warm, encouraging personality with strong classroom management skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing a positive experience for every child.
• Background in multicultural movement traditions or world dance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.90 - $32.39 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
