Position Highlights:
We’re looking for a hybrid Graphic Designer and Email Marketing Specialist who blends strong visual design and creative thinking with performance-driven email marketing . This role partners closely with the marketing team to execute high-impact email campaigns and creative assets and owning the process from concept and copy direction through design, build, testing, and optimization. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that email is both a revenue channel and a brand channel balancing conversion performance with premium visual storytelling. This position can be remote, but the qualified candidate must live within the state of Florida (proof of residency required).
Responsibilities:
Creative & Design
- Design high-conversion email templates and campaign visuals
- Continuously improve design + performance through testing and iteration
- Develop brand-consistent creative concepts for campaigns
- Create banners, headers, and email graphics
- Ensure visual storytelling aligns with brand positioning and premium aesthetic
- Optimize designs for mobile, dark mode, and accessibility
- Collaborate on brand standards for email and lifecycle marketing
- Use data to inform creative decisions
Email Marketing
- Responsible for utilizing the ESP platform (Klaviyo) for creation, list management, deliverability, and distribution of emails
- Build and deploy promotional, and transactional email campaigns
- Manage campaign calendars in coordination with merchandising, promotions, and product launches
- Build and optimize automated flows (welcome, win-back, post-purchase, VIP, abandonment, replenishment, etc.)
- A/B test subject lines, creative, layout, offers, and messaging
- Monitor basic performance KPIs (open rate, CTR, revenue per send, deliverability, unsubscribe rate) and recommend actions for optimization
Required Skills & Experience
Creative & Design
- Strong visual design skills paired with creativity
- Proficiency in design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop,Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Understanding of UX principles for email and Web
- Strong creative judgment and aesthetic sense
- Ability to translate brand identity into email experiences
Email Marketing
- Experience with ESP platforms (Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of best practices for email creative, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, CAN-SPAM regulations, and ESPs
- Build, test, proof, and execute email campaigns to nurture leads and drive sales
- Data-driven mindset with some performance optimization experience
- Knowledge of deliverability best practices
- Proficiency using work flow platforms (Asana, Workfront, Basecamp, etc.)
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a concentration in marketing, communications, and graphic design
- Minimum 2 years of email marketing experience
- Minimum 2 years of eCommerce experience
- Experience writing and editing email marketing content
- Experience in creating email banners
- Working knowledge of HTML & CSS
- Experience in graphic design using different tools
- Understanding of CAN-SPAM and email best practices
- Web analytics knowledge
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills to drive actions and insights
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working within a CMS, preferably Magento
- Willingness to learn and a passion for marketing and customer engagement
- Excellent verbal and composition ability, plus a high degree of professionalism
- Ability to operate and meet deadlines under pressure and with minimal oversight
- Creative thinker with performance discipline
- Comfortable owning projects end-to-end
- Thrives in fast-paced, SKU-heavy e-commerce environments
