About the Role
The Creative Director – Content & Copy is the driving force behind the agency’s verbal storytelling and content vision. This role blends big-idea conceptual thinking with sharp copycraft and leadership. You’ll lead teams to develop compelling brand narratives, campaign ideas, and content strategies that cut through the digital clutter — ensuring that every word, line, and story strengthens brand identity and connects with audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Strategic Leadership
- Lead the content and copy team in conceptualizing and executing powerful brand campaigns across digital platforms.
- Collaborate with art, strategy, and media teams to shape holistic creative ideas.
- Define the voice, tone, and language for brands across campaigns, content series, and platforms.
- Set and maintain the creative bar for all copy and content work across the agency.
Content & Copy Excellence
- Oversee development of campaign ideas, taglines, scripts, long-form content, social media copy, branded storytelling, and influencer content.
- Review and refine copy to ensure clarity, creativity, and strategic alignment.
- Push for innovative content formats and storytelling techniques tailored to platform behavior.
Team Management & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of copywriters, content strategists, and scriptwriters.
- Provide constructive feedback, creative direction, and skill-building guidance.
- Foster a collaborative, idea-first culture where bold creative thinking thrives.
Client & Brand Partnership
- Present creative ideas and narratives to clients with confidence and clarity.
- Collaborate with client teams to understand brand objectives, audience insights, and business goals.
- Act as the creative guardian of brands — ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation in every touchpoint.
Execution & Quality Control
- Oversee copy for campaigns from concept to delivery — including digital films, social media, websites, influencer collabs, and branded content.
- Ensure deadlines, budgets, and brand standards are met without compromising creative excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
- 8–12 years of experience in copywriting and creative roles, with at least 3+ years in a leadership position (agency experience preferred).
- Exceptional conceptual thinking and storytelling ability.
- Proven experience in developing integrated campaigns and digital-first content.
- Strong leadership, presentation, and communication skills (both English & Malayalam).
- Deep understanding of digital culture, social media behavior, and content trends.
- Ability to balance creative ambition with client objectives and deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
