We are seeking a talented and experienced Creative Director / Lead Designer to join our dynamic team and lead transformative design projects.
Position Overview:
The Creative Director / Lead Designer will oversee the creative vision and execution of interior design projects and team, ensuring exceptional quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. This role requires a blend of artistic creativity, technical expertise in construction, and strong leadership to manage design team and collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in interior design, with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, and a deep understanding of construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership: Develop and execute the creative vision for interior design projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand standards.
Project Management: Lead end-to-end project execution, from concept development and space planning to material selection and final installation.
Design Development: Create detailed design plans, mood boards, renderings, and presentations to communicate concepts to clients and team members.
Construction Collaboration: Work closely with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction processes, adhering to timelines and budgets.
Team Supervision: Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance on design techniques, project execution, and professional development.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, presenting design concepts, addressing feedback, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Control: Oversee the quality of all design deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential and/or commercial projects.
Construction Knowledge: Proven experience in construction processes, including reading blueprints, understanding building codes, and collaborating with construction teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools. Knowledge of Design Manager software is a plus.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire design teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Location & Availability: Must be located in Naples, FL, or willing to relocate, and available to work onsite Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
Creativity: Strong aesthetic sense, with a keen eye for color, texture, and spatial arrangements, and a passion for creating functional yet beautiful spaces.
