Creative Marketing Associate

Overview

We’re looking for someone who’s both hands-on and experienced — someone who can comfortably handle day-to-day creative tasks while contributing fresh ideas and perspective. This is a part-time role, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as our needs expand and the fit proves strong.

You’ll work closely with the Brand Manager to help execute the many creative and marketing tasks that keep the brand moving forward. The goal: to free up senior creative time so we can push further creatively and strategically as a team. This role provides meaningful support across campaigns, content, and brand storytelling — helping turn ideas into thoughtful, on-brand deliverables that reflect the spirit of the brand.

Role Description

The Creative Marketing Associate supports the Creative and Marketing teams in achieving goals across multiple areas of the business. This mid-level role is ideal for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment but can also manage projects independently.

You’ll bring a balance of creative intuition and organizational strength — coordinating assets, supporting campaigns, and contributing to the development of compelling, on-brand content that strengthens our presence across digital and print channels.

We’re looking for someone who has a background in design, experience and interest in creative marketing and is comfortable working in Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite programs. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential. Experience in fashion or a related creative field is a plus — as is an appreciation for slow fashion, brand storytelling, and a visual sensibility aligned with our world (think Misha & Puff and beyond).

Responsibilities

• Support graphic design needs, including versioning ads, creating journal content, and preparing digital assets.
• Ability to take art direction and produce on-brand deliverables across digital and print.
• Manage and organize creative assets; back up files to the server and prepare them for various uses.
• Coordinate printed materials, vendor communication, and order tracking.
• Assist with maintaining and updating website content, events pages, and other digital platforms.
• Contribute to project management in Asana — tracking calendars, requests, deadlines, and expenses.
• Plus if you have copywriting experience and can write or adapt short-form, keyword-informed copy that reflects the brand voice and supports SEO.
• Provide general creative and administrative support to the Creative Director and marketing team.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in a creative, marketing, or production role — ideally within fashion or a related industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop required; InDesign, Illustrator, and Bridge a plus). Familiarity with Dropbox and digital organization tools.
• Organization & Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; copywriting experience a plus.
• Collaboration: Team player who takes direction well and works effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Brand Knowledge: Clear understanding of brand identity, mission, and customer experience.
• Proactive & Detail-Oriented: Anticipates needs, takes initiative, and thrives in a creative environment.
• Portfolio Required: Please include a link to your portfolio, website, or recent examples of your work showcasing design and/or marketing experience.
• Bonus Points: Knowledge of or enthusiasm for slow fashion, knitting, or fibers.
