Role:
Assist bringing the credit union brand to life across digital and print channels. Responsible for blending visual design skills with marketing insight and a passion for storytelling. Ensure marketing materials are compelling, maintain brand consistency, and develop content that connects with our target audience at every stage of their journey.

Design digital and print marketing assets including but not limited to social graphics, digital advertisements, print advertisements, web visuals, email templates, flyers, and brochures. Support the visual development of campaigns across platforms, ensuring brand consistency and high-impact execution. Update website content and visuals using CMS tools. Apply SEO best practices to improve discoverability and performance. Collaborate on landing pages, microsites, and user interfaces with thoughtful layout and user experience in mind.

Monitor, analyze, and optimize content performance using analytics, search trends, and audience insights to maximize engagement, reach, and ROI. Track key marketing metrics, generate actionable insights, and recommend improvements for campaigns across digital and traditional channels. Develop reports and dashboards that visualize marketing performance for leadership review.

Write clear, engaging, on-brand copy for social media, email campaigns, website content, printed/digital materials, credit union notification, etc. Tailor messaging to align with target audiences and campaign goals. Proof and edit content to maintain tone, grammar, and clarity.

Contribute to campaigns that communicate our mission and values through visual storytelling and member-centric content. Help shape the brand voice through narrative-driven projects that highlight real experiences and organizational impact. Uphold and apply brand guidelines across all channels and assets. Assist in evolving our brand identity with a consistent visual and voice-driven approach. Ensure quality, clarity, and cohesion in all creative output.

Work closely with marketing team and other departments to support ongoing initiatives. Contribute ideas, creative direction, and support across campaign planning and execution. Help manage timelines and deliverables with strong follow-through and organization.

Education, Experience, Certifications and or Licenses:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of professional training experience.
Two to Five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
Interpersonal Skills:
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
Other Skills:
Skills in advanced software programs including: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite. Thorough understanding of color theory, typography, layout, branding, and iconography. Knowledge of graphic design techniques, marketing and advertising as well as computer based software to enhance this knowledge. Familiarity with digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager). Proficient in Google Analytics, GA4, and/or Adobe Analytics. Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and keyword research tools. Knowledge of forecasting and trend analysis. Email marketing / automation tools (Mailchimp, etc.). Knowledge of UX/UI basics for marketing assets.
Physical Requirements:
Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
