Creative Ops Lead — Brand, Content Systems & AI Workflows
Remote · Contractor · Long-term opportunity
Read this before applying.
NEW ERA Digital Marketing helps painting contractors across the U.S. and Canada grow through paid ads, appointment booking, and better growth systems.
We are not building a generic content machine.
We are building a founder-led, proof-driven content system that helps painting contractors trust us before they ever book a call.
That means our content cannot sound generic.
It cannot be random posts for the sake of posting.
It cannot be AI-generated content with no judgment behind it.
It has to come from real market signals, client proof, sales conversations, contractor pain points, founder perspective, and performance feedback.
That is why we are hiring a Creative Ops Lead.
This role is for someone who can help turn raw ideas, sales insights, client wins, founder notes, Looms, comments, DMs, and AI-assisted drafts into a clean content operating system.
This is not just a content creator role.
This is not just a video editor role.
This is not a social media scheduler role.
You are here to help build the system behind the content.
The Mission
Make Daniel the strategic voice, not the content operations bottleneck.
You will help capture signals, organize ideas, create briefs, support AI-assisted scripting, coordinate editor handoff, manage revisions, protect brand quality, and feed performance learnings back into the next content cycle.
The goal is simple:
NEW ERA should publish better content with less chaos.
The content system should make it easier to know:
You help make that real.
What You Will Own
You will help own:
What Good Creative Ops Looks Like Here
Good creative operations is not just posting more.
It means the right ideas move through the system without Daniel having to rebuild the strategy every time.
A strong creative system:
The best person for this role knows how to create structure without killing the voice.
AI Boundary
We use AI.
We want to use it more.
But AI does not own the brand.
AI can help with:
Human judgment owns:
If you blindly trust AI output because it sounds good, this is not your role.
Your job is to use AI backstage while protecting the quality of what goes on stage.
What Success Looks Like
First 30 Days
You understand NEW ERA’s market, offer, audience, proof, voice, and current content workflow.
You audit the current content system.
You identify where ideas are coming from, where they get stuck, what Daniel still has to do manually, and what needs to be cleaned up first.
You help create the first clean version of:
First 60 Days
The weekly content workflow is cleaner.
Daniel has clearer recording briefs.
Editors receive better direction.
Revisions are easier to manage.
AI is helping with drafts, summaries, hooks, and repurposing without lowering quality.
Performance learnings are being captured.
First 90 Days
There is a repeatable content operating rhythm.
The team knows what ideas are approved, what Daniel needs to record, what editors are working on, what is ready for review, what is published, and what should be learned from performance.
Daniel is still the strategic voice.
But he is no longer the content operations bottleneck.
Tools You May Work With
You do not need to be an expert in every tool, but you should be comfortable learning and working inside tools like:
Who We Want
You are a strong fit if:
Who We Do Not Want
This is probably not the right role if:
Bonus Experience
Bonus points if you have experience with:
Approval Boundaries
This role can move fast, but it does not have unlimited approval.
Daniel approval is required before:
You can gather signals, organize backlog, draft hooks/scripts, create recording briefs, create editor briefs, prepare content calendars, draft reports, and document workflow improvements without approval.
But final public-facing judgment stays human.
