Creative Packaging Designer – Home Textiles

Job Summary:

The Packaging Designer – Home Textiles is responsible for designing functional, attractive, and cost-effective packaging for home textile products such as bedding, bath, rugs, curtains, and throws. The role ensures packaging enhances shelf appeal, protects products during transit, complies with retailer standards, and aligns with brand and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging Design & Concept Development

Create packaging concepts for home textile products that balance visual appeal, product visibility, and functionality for both retail and e-commerce.

Artwork, Dielines & Print Production

Develop accurate dielines, print-ready artwork, inserts, and labeling in compliance with retailer and regulatory requirements.

Material Selection & Sustainability

Select suitable materials (poly bags, boxes, belly bands, wraps, inserts) with a focus on durability, cost efficiency, and sustainable alternatives.

Retail & Compliance Standards

Ensure packaging meets retailer guidelines (e.g., barcode placement, labeling, warnings) and textile compliance requirements.

Supplier & Printer Coordination

Liaise with packaging suppliers and printers to manage sampling, approvals, timelines, and production quality.

Cost & Logistics Optimization

Optimize packaging to reduce material usage, shipping volume, and costs while maintaining product protection and brand presentation.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
