Creative Services Project Manager Marketing

We’re looking for an experienced project manager to fill this hybrid role which is based out of our Seattle office. In this critical role reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Creative Services, you’ll support the day-to-day management of creative and marketing projects by planning, tracking, and coordinating deliverables through established workflows, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and are delivered in accordance with the approved project briefs. This includes maintaining workflow efficiency, intake, status visibility, and ensuring that cross-functional partners remain informed and aligned. You’ll collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing stakeholders to maintain clear communication, manage timelines, and support project efficiency. You’ll also support departmental operations through administrative tasks such as invoice processing and purchase order tracking to help maintain budget alignment. A continuous improvement mindset and collaborative approach are essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sr. Project Manager with the intake, planning, scheduling of creative project requests using project management tools (e.g., Asana), ensuring clarity in scope, alignment with project briefs, and appropriate task visibility.
• Track project timelines and task statuses across multiple deliverables, coordinating with creative and marketing teams to ensure timely execution and successful handoffs.
• Communicate proactively with cross-functional stakeholders to gather timely updates, flag blockers, and provide project status updates through the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate the creative review and approval process using proofing platforms, ensuring timely feedback loops, documentation, and version control.
• Support project tracking, reporting, and documentation to support transparency and cross-team visibility. This includes processing vendor invoices, logging them for departmental tracking, and opening purchase orders (POs) to ensure alignment with the department budget.
• Assist in maintaining the digital asset management system, ensuring accurate file handoffs, delivery and archiving.
• Demonstrate a commitment to process improvements while fostering collaboration and relationship-building across teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of professional experience in a marketing agency or in-house creative production or marketing operations role.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated success in mentoring team members and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience with budget oversight, vendor management, and reporting.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to balance priorities and resources.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Word, Teams, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple creative projects concurrently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Asana for project management and familiarity with other project management platforms.
• Understanding of digital creative workflows, including asset handoff and archiving practices.
• Experience handling vendor invoices, creating purchase orders (POs), and maintaining accurate financial records for departmental budget tracking.
• Analytical skills with experience in reporting and presenting project status to stakeholders.
• Comfort working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Ability to build strong relationships and work across teams.
• Proven ability to manage time, prioritize competing tasks, and remain focused and solution-oriented under tight deadlines.
• Strong prioritization, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in hybrid or remote settings.
• Experience leading small project teams.
• Demonstrated success in motivating and supporting team members toward common goals.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

Please note that this is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

• Base Salary Range: $88,100.00-$119,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
