Creative Specialist / Traffic Manager

NEW Radio, Inc. has the following part time position of Creative Specialist / Traffic Manager available. In this unique position, we’re looking for someone who wants to work with some of the best broadcasters in the industry and can help manage a large volume of commercials. You will also be helping shape moods of everyone in the area when you create content and playlists for our stations. This person needs to be great at self-management and communication.

Main working hours occur weekdays between Monday and Friday in the main office in Sturgeon Bay. Suggested hours of work are 9am-3pm with some job requirements extending past those hours or possible weekends. Starting pay will be negotiated and based on experience. You will need to have a full understanding of the "traffic" portion of the job before moving on to the creative.

Creative Specialist / Traffic Manager Responsibilities:

This Seems like a lot, but it’s really not… In this position you will be responsible for:

-Being highly organized, self-motivated, managing yourself and a team player

-Following the Guidelines of NEW Radio, Inc.

-Working side-by-side with the Sales & Management Team making sure accounts are in good standing (traffic)

-Creation and Reconciliation of Daily Commercial and Music Logs for our Stations (traffic)

-Loading Commercials, Shows and Music (traffic)

-Basic Knowledge of Radio Production Tools for Commercial/Promotion Production (traffic)

-Creating/Editing Graphics and Videos to use on multiple platforms (knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, iMovie)

-Creating, Updating and posting current, relevant information to our Social Media Sites and websites.

-Creating Social Media posts for NEW Radio Brands and Customers

-Using our Digital Assets to create promotions and Website Features

-Going Live on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and being comfortable on camera

-Using our Digital Assets to assist in the growth of our Social Media revenue

-Learning our Digital Assets to Grow local businesses

-Answer Phones in a timely a professional manner

-Option to “sell” Social Media appearances (and other programs) and earn commission on those sales
