About KITCC

KITCC is one of Pakistan’s leading non-profit healthcare organizations, providing free treatment, blood transfusions, medicines, and lifelong care to 1000+ thalassaemia major children. Beyond treatment, we actively promote awareness, education, and prevention campaigns to achieve our dream of a Thalassaemia-Free Pakistan.

Our Media & Communications Team plays a vital role in sharing stories, engaging communities, and mobilizing support. And that’s where you come in.

Your Role: Creative Writer & Host

This position combines the art of powerful writing with the skill of inspiring hosting. You will not only create compelling content but also become the voice and face of KITCC through events, talk shows, and media appearances.

Writing Responsibilities

• Write SEO-friendly blogs, articles, and website content on healthcare, awareness, and social causes.
• Develop impactful patient stories that touch hearts and inspire donors.
• Create social media captions, campaigns, fundraising appeals, newsletters, and press releases.
• Write scripts for videos, documentaries, and awareness programs.
• Proofread, edit, and refine content for accuracy and excellence.
• Integrate SEO strategies and trending keywords to maximize KITCC’s digital visibility.

Hosting Responsibilities

• Host awareness talk shows, interviews, and panel discussions at KITCC.
• Present and represent KITCC during events, fundraising activities, and celebrations.
• Engage warmly and confidently with children, parents, donors, and media partners.
• Appear in digital campaigns, awareness videos, and social media content as KITCC’s representative.
• Be comfortable on stage and in front of the camera, bringing energy and empathy to every appearance.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Media Sciences, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in creative writing, content writing, SEO writing, or hosting/presenting.
• Excellent command over English & Urdu (bilingual writing and speaking preferred).
• Confident public speaker with strong on-camera presence.
• A natural storyteller with emotional intelligence and creativity.
• Passion for healthcare awareness, humanitarian causes, and impactful communication.

Pay: From Rs50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Karachi Gulshan-E-Iqbal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
