We’re looking for someone who can bring energy, clarity, and personality to the content we put out every day. Someone who can take a client’s voice and make it shine in a feed full of noise. Someone who knows that writing isn’t about filling space, it’s about making people feel something.

Your writing will fuel campaigns, shape brands, and give small business owners the confidence to show up as leaders in their markets. That’s why this role matters.

Your Priority

Your number one priority is to write words that connect. Every post, caption, and hook you create should do one of three things: build awareness, earn trust, or inspire action.

At the end of the day, your writing should feel real. It should sound like something people actually say, not just something brands put out. If it makes someone stop scrolling and pay attention, you’ve done your job.

What You’ll Do

• Write social posts, captions, and hooks that stop the scroll and make people care.
• Take a client’s brand voice and make it sound human, clear, and consistent.
• Turn raw ideas or messy thoughts into clean, engaging copy
• Collaborate with our creative team so words and visuals land together
• Keep content fresh by staying plugged into culture and trends (without chasing every shiny thing)
• Set up other team members for success every step of the way

• A storyteller at heart. You know how to make words sound human, not corporate.
• Quick on your feet. You can move from one brand voice to another without skipping a beat.
• Curious by nature. You ask questions, dig deeper, and find the angle that makes content stand out.
• Collaborative. You play well with designers, strategists, and coaches, and you’re not precious about feedback.
• Detail-minded but not paralyzed by perfection. You know when “done” is better than “perfect.”
• Hungry to grow. You want to be part of a team that’s building something bigger than just an agency.

Compensation

We’re looking for people who want to grow with us, and who see this as a chance to be part of a team that’s scaling fast and building something big.

• Full-time, remote role (work where you do your best thinking)
• Starting pay: $20-$25/hour
• 90-day review period for lifts in hourly compensation
• Room to grow as reFOCUS grows
• Paid twice per month (1st and 15th)

Base Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
