Firm Overview

GC Investment Management LLC provides investment management, valuation, fund accounting, operational and administrative services for direct lending and broadly syndicated loan funds, securitizations and related financings. GC Investment Management LLC is a USVI affiliate of Golub Capital LLC with offices in St. Thomas and St. Croix.

Position Responsibilities

The Credit Analyst role is an integral part of the Credit Monitoring Team. This role will interact with Deal Teams, Fund Accounting and Operations Departments and assist in various areas of investment management, including but not limited to, the following:

− Monitoring, analyzing and valuing a diverse portfolio of debt and equity investments

− Communicating with deal professionals to obtain knowledge of our borrowers’ businesses and operating performance

− Tracking pending transactions and amendments to credit agreements

− Preparing files for independent valuation firms, including financial statements, due diligence materials and legal documents

− Reviewing monthly valuations prepared by independent valuation firms

− Inputting borrowers’ financial data into the Firm’s credit monitoring database

− Performing valuations for debt and equity investments using appropriate methodologies, supportable assumptions and accurate inputs

− Preparing written valuation reports

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

− Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related discipline with a GPA of 3.2 or higher and 1 – 3 years of experience in similar role

− Financial or accounting exposure through prior work experience

− Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Excel and Word

− Comprehension and understanding of financial statements, specifically income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements

− Prior credit or investment analytical experience a plus

− Ability to prioritize and work independently with limited supervision

− Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

− Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous and accurate

− Highly motivated, hardworking and driven
