Job Description:
- Review borrower applications, financial documents, and credit reports to determine loan eligibility.
- Maintain accurate records of credit assessments, decisions, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Canadian lending regulations, and privacy laws.
- Collaborate with lending specialists and compliance teams to resolve application discrepancies.
- Monitor loan application trends, credit performance and help convince borrowers to move to the next stage of application.
- Escalate high-risk applications or potential fraud cases for further investigation.
- Contribute to the development of credit policies, risk models, and underwriting procedures.
