Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Credit Card Team Leader to spearhead our credit card operations and ensure the integrity of our financial services. Duties

  • Lead and motivate the credit card team to achieve operational goals, ensuring high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily credit card processing activities, including account management, transaction monitoring, and dispute resolution.
  • Develop and implement fraud prevention and detection protocols to safeguard customer accounts and reduce financial losses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including securities law, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and governmental accounting standards.
  • Monitor credit card portfolio health through detailed financial analysis, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with risk management teams to assess credit risk and establish appropriate lending policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial concepts such as cash management, investment strategies, and banking operations to inform decision-making.
  • Prepare accurate regulatory reporting documentation in accordance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Utilize advanced financial software tools for data analysis, reporting, and audit purposes.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on fraud prevention techniques, technical accounting practices, and compliance updates for team members.
  • Support internal audits by providing necessary documentation related to corporate accounting practices and financial analysis procedures.

Experience

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams within the credit card or broader financial services sector.
  • Strong background in fraud prevention and detection methods specific to credit card operations.
  • In-depth understanding of securities law, regulatory reporting requirements, and governmental accounting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Experience working with financial software systems used for transaction processing, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance procedures applicable to financial reporting environments.
  • Familiarity with public accounting practices or internal audit functions related to banking or investment management firms is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, technical accounting principles, and investment management concepts relevant to credit operations.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments including risk management, compliance, audit, and finance teams.
