Job Summary
The Credit Compliance Manager performs vital underwriting functions for Advocate Capital, working closely with the Credit Committee, Business Development Managers, Account Owners, clients / prospective clients, and third-party sources to gather necessary credit approval information for first-time lending or client renewals. The Credit Compliance Manager then prepares a credit package and lending recommendations for the credit committee, diligently documenting and tracking all components of the credit approval process along the way. The Credit Compliance Manager is to be creative when possible, looking for ways to provide credit solutions with clients and prospects without sacrificing credit quality. The company works remotely from home.
Job Responsibilities
o Partner with Business Development Managers (BDMs) to efficiently manage the information collection process, communicating clearly and concisely all items needed for credit approval for prospective clients.
o Work with BDMs and/or Account Managers to facilitate the credit renewal process, collecting information and communicating with clients.
o Based on credit information gathered and established underwriting guidelines, make recommendations to credit committee on creditworthiness and amount of credit to be extended. Prepare credit package for committee.
o Thoroughly document all activity in CRM system.
