If you possess a flawless eye for financial risk, an objective approach to credit assessment, and the communication skills to maintain strong commercial partnerships, we want you to shape our credit strategy.
The Role: What You’ll Do
As our Credit Manager, you will hold the keys to our credit risk framework. You will be responsible for evaluating the financial reliability of commercial clients, establishing robust credit policies, minimizing bad debt exposure, and driving efficient collections workflows without compromising valuable client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Risk Assessment: Evaluate the financial health and creditworthiness of prospective and existing commercial clients using advanced financial statement analysis and credit scoring models.
- Policy Architecture: Design, implement, and periodically optimize the company’s corporate credit policies and underwriting guidelines to balance risk with commercial growth.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Oversee the accounts receivable ledger, tracking aging reports and proactively identifying high-risk or defaulting accounts.
- Dispute & Collection Management: Lead the resolution of complex billing disputes and oversee structured collection strategies, coordinating with legal teams when necessary.
- Strategic Reporting: Deliver comprehensive monthly credit risk exposure, bad debt provisioning, and cash collection reports directly to senior executives and CFO.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- Education & Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. A professional certification such as CCP (Certified Credit Professional) or a master's degree is a distinct advantage.
- Experience: 5+ years of solid corporate credit management or risk analysis experience, ideally within a major B2B trading, construction, or corporate consulting environment in the GCC.
- Financial Sharpness: Mastery in analyzing corporate balance sheets, cash flow statements, and understanding local legal frameworks regarding debt recovery and corporate compliance in Qatar.
- Negotiation Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain a firm stance on risk while preserving critical client partnerships.
- Local Presence: Currently based in Qatar with a valid, transferable QID. Ability to operate full-time on-site from our Ar Rayyan corporate office.
Why Join Mac Associates?
- Strategic Autonomy: Take the lead on our credit division, shaping policies that directly impact our financial bottom line and commercial agility.
- Vibrant Business Hub: Work from our modern corporate office in Ar Rayyan, a rapidly expanding commercial and cultural epicenter in Qatar.
- Professional Growth: Join a high-caliber leadership team that rewards analytical innovation, proactive problem-solving, and decisive leadership.
- Competitive Package: A premium, tax-free base salary, comprehensive executive medical insurance, and a performance-driven annual bonus scheme.
