Credit Union Head Teller

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly reliable and responsible supervisor for our teller line and member facing team. The team consists of the Head Teller and one colleague. Our teller line manages lobby traffic, as well as customer service requests via phone and online channels.

About Us

The Credit Union is a single branch, small institution serving the faculty, staff, and alumni of Daytona State College. After probation, the Credit Union offers a minimum of 13 paid days off per year, and up to 9 paid holidays. Additionally, we offer over 40 hours of other paid leave during Christmas and Spring Break. Benefit premiums are 100% covered by the Credit Union, nothing is paid by the employees. Post-probation, the Credit Union has an incentive program offering as much as an additional $2,400 per year.

Duties

• Complete member service tasks and transactions, including complex transactions
• Assign work, solve problems, and assist colleagues
• Open and close accounts
• Train, motivate, and evaluate staff
• Serve as BSA Officer, complete and file CTRs and SARs in accordance with regulation
• Conduct periodic robbery and BSA training
• Cash ordering and vault teller
• Serve as IRA Administrator
• Investigate and reconcile Out of Balances
• Serve as Notary Public
• Review and periodic closure of Dormant Accounts according to policy
• Serve as a backup to the Loan Officer
• Serve as a backup to the Bookkeeper

Experience

• Must have at least 1 year of prior banking experience
• Credit Union and supervisory experience preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
