Our Client is looking for a Creditor Litigation Paralegal with experience in litigation, particularly in handling pre- and post-judgment matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced legal environment.

They are a fast-paced law firm in Plantation, Florida, specializing in litigation. Their team is dedicated to delivering effective legal solutions, and are seeking a highly motivated paralegal with experience in creditor litigation to join their firm.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary: $75,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in handling creditor litigation cases, including pre-suit and post-judgment matters.
• Draft complaints, motions, deposition notices, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate service of process and assist with motion practice.
• Schedule hearings (pre- and post-judgment) and post-judgment depositions in aid of execution.
• Prepare and file domestication documents for foreign judgments.
• Manage case files and track important deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed.
• Work efficiently under pressure and independently manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

• Paralegal certificate or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies (preferred but not required with relevant experience).
• 5+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in creditor litigation.
• Strong legal drafting and document preparation skills.
• Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
