Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Crew Supervisor to lead industrial and environmental contracting crews on diverse projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise industrial and environmental construction crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Oversee daily site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide team efforts accurately.
- Manage project schedules using various tools to keep projects on track.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, safety incidents, material usage, and progress reports.
- Supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring their work aligns with project requirements and safety standards.
- Facilitate communication between field teams, management, clients, and stakeholders for seamless project execution.
Skills
- Proven experience in site supervision with a strong understanding of industrial and environmental management principles.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
- Knowledge of contracts administration and project documentation processes.
- Hands-on experience with pipeline projects or heavy civil construction is highly desirable.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously within tight deadlines.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and utilize specialized tools when necessary.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is required; ongoing safety education is preferred.
- Experience in PA and NJ DEP regulations is a huge plus.
